To the person who introduced me to Tumblr, thank you. :) I still don’t understand why you have to leave but but but thank you for sharing tumblr to me. It’s been my best outlet ever since. Love youuuu. Tumblr won’t be the same without you.

Four years, two blogs, more than 4000 posts, 336 followers, 220 followed blogs~

Not a lot of people would understand this but at the end of the best and worst days, I sit in front of my computer and write the night away and sleep at peace because nothing was left unsaid. Letters I have no courage to send, things that I fear to confront other people with, words that I cannot say out loud — almost all of them have been typed down in here.

One day five to ten years from now, I’ll backread through all the words I’ve written here and hopefully smile because all these posts and what they represent have not only been day-enders for me but they make up the bits and pieces of my heart and mind that I have, intentionally or unintentionally, shared with everyone who follows and visits my blog.

There’s not a definite reason I’m leaving but one of them could be attributed to the fact that I want to let go of the sadness that I’ve invested in these words. Tumblr was probably something transient, just as the sadness is. Thank you, friends, for the likes of the posts and compliments for the writing. It is an honor to be read by you.

I will miss this place much more than I could ever put into words. I’ll log in once in a while to see what you guys are up to (because we all know that people in Tumblr know things first — from celebrity news to what’s happening in the other side of the world to why our schoolmates have broken up, etc) but it will definitely not be the same as before.

So, today, the third of June, I say goodbye to the best blog host I’ve ever had and to the receiver of every rant and rave of the past half-decade. Thank you for putting up with my drama. I will forever be grateful.
